Lawsuit Against 50 Cent Dropped

The $50 million lawsuit filed against rapper 50 Cent by Shaniqua Tompkins was dropped by a New York judge.
The suit by the former girlfriend claimed that the 32 year-old rapper promised to support her for the rest of her life if he ever became successful.
However, Tompkins' claim to half of the Grammy-nominated rapper's assets was dismissed by Manhattan State Supreme Court Justice Carol Edmead, who said that their situation was "an unfortunate tale of a love relationship gone sour.''

To complicate matters, 50 Cent (A.K.A. Curtis Jackson) and Tompkins have an 11 year-old son, Marquise Jackson.
Not surprisingly, Tomkins' attorney, Paul Catsandonis, said he might consider an appeal.
