Having gallivanted across the globe during hubby Tom Cruise's promotional tour for Valkyrie, and fresh off her turn on Broadway, Katie Holmes is headed back to the big screen in the comedy The Extra Man.
A source tells Radaronline.com that production "will begin on Monday" in New York, where Holmes recently returned for pre-production.
The film, based on a novel by Jonathan Ames, also stars Kevin Klein, Paul Dano, and John C. Reilly. Kline plays a failed playwright and escort for rich widows who befriends aspiring writer Dano.
Despite internet reports, a source confirms that Holmes will not be playing one of the widows.
