NBC has hired a few funny men for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
A.D. Miles, a stand-up comic and actor, has landed as head writer. Steve Higgins, a producer for "Saturday Night Live" will be the show's announcer. Dave Diomedi, whose directed several films and music documentaries, is directing Fallon's talker.
The show will air Monday through Friday, 12:35 p.m. Eastern-time. That's Conan O'Brien's old time slot. O'Brien is prepping to takeover the "Tonight Show" gig, which he managed to wrestle away from Jay Leno.
