Hudson Wins, Shines

(Photo: Splash News Online) Jennifer Hudson was a beautiful winner at last night's 40th annual NAACP Image Awards ceremony.
Broadcast on Fox from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the group honored her with awards for Best New Artist, Best Duo ("I'm His Only Woman" with Fantasia) and Best Album (Jennifer Hudson).
"This is where we come from," Hudson told the crowd. "So it's always an honor to come home and feel welcome and to feel the love. I really cherish this and appreciate it."

Tyler Perry co-hosted with Halle Berry. His TBS series Tyler Perry's House of Payne won 4 awards, including Best Comedy Series and acting trophies for LaVan Davis, Lance Gross and Keshia Knight Pulliam.
Among the other winners were Will Smith for Best Actor in Seven Pounds and The Secret Life of Bees as Best Film.
