Hudson Gets Emotional

If it wasn't emotional enough to be appearing in public for just the second time since the murder of her family, Jennifer Hudson had even more to be moved about.
First, she won best R&B album of the year.
Second, the award was given to her by surprise presenter Whitney Houston, who has had more than her share of grace-under-pressure moments during her tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown.
Hudson gave in to emotion, sobbing and choking up as she accepted the trophy and said -- in reference to her slain mother, brother and nephew -- "I would like to thank my family in heaven and those who are here today."
