George Strait honored as ACM's Artist of the Decade

The Academy of Country Music has announced the lineup for their upcoming "ACM Artist of the Decade" concert. This year's recipient - Country Music legend, George Strait.
Faith Hill, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban are a handful of Country superstars taking the stage to pay tribute to Strait's 25-year career.
Just four other acts have received the Artist of the Decade honor. Past recipients include Marty Robbins in 1969, Loretta Lynn in 1979, Alabama in 1988 and Garth Brooks in 1998.

It's the first time the event is being television. CBS will tape the concert at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Monday, April 6th for broadcast later this year.
