Long-time TV personality Gary Collins has been formerly charged with driving under the influence by the Santa Barbara District Attorney's Office. Radaronline.com spoke with the district attorney assigned to the case and he told us Collins had a .29 blood alcohol level when he was arrested on January 31st.
Collins was arrested for another DUI on October 27th, 2007 in which Warren Gates, the driver in another vehicle was killed. Collins didn't face additional charges because the cops determined Gates caused the crash by not stopping at a red light.
Collins is due in court in Santa Barbara on March 2nd, and isn't required to appear in person, as he wasn't charged with a felony.
