"I think in the case of Robert De Niro, he had a lot of talk show experience and he knows Jimmy well," new "Late Night" producer Michael Shoemaker told the "New York Post."
"Jimmy has done skits with De Niro on "Saturday Night Live" and I think De Niro knows Jimmy will take care of him."
