Eight Arrested in Phelps "Bong-Gate"

A television station in Columbia South Carolina is reporting that eight people tied to a party during which Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps was photographed using a bong have been arrested.
According to station WIS News Channel 10, Seven were arrested for drug possession and one for distribution.
The station is also reporting that Phelps is NOT among those charged, although the sheriff in Richland County, South Carolina where the party took place last November, has said he is still investigating Phelps.

RadarOnline.com just spoke with a spokesman in the sheriff's office, and he told us that he would not comment on reports of an arrest, and said that the investigation into the pot party is "on-going".
There's also word that the department has located and confiscated that infamous bong.
Sources say the owner of the bong was trying to sell it on eBay for as much as $100,000.
