Weeks after her estranged husband Jay Faires filed papers requesting spousal support and declaring the couple lived extravagantly, Debbie Matenopoulos is fighting back with her own income and expense declaration.

In the papers, Matenopoulos (who makes $225, 000 in comparison to Faires' $450, 000 music-exec salary) is asking for $12,000 in monthly spousal support. Matenopolous also claims Faires is bankrolling his luxurious singledom through a joint bank account.

"He moved out of the family residence earlier this year and moved into the Chateau Marmont Hotel at roughly $35,000 a month," today's legal filings claim, "He used joint accounts to fund his stay."

As RadarOnline.com reported, the couple has been locked in a heated battle over the sale of their home. Faires claimed Matenopoulos refuses to sell the home, which she still lives in, for less than $8 million dollars though he estimates the value at only $4.3 million.

The couple, who were married for less than five years, is set to meet again- at least through their lawyers- in court on February 25.
