"Dark Knight" Is A Billionaire

Warner Brothers has announced that the worldwide box office receipts for The Dark Knight have passed the 1 billion dollar mark.
According to 'Variety', the studio calculates that the film grossed $1,001,082,160 so far - $553 million in North America and $567 million abroad. A Warner Bros. spokesperson said that Ecuador pushed the film into 'billion dollar' status.
And that doesn't include the bazillions of bucks from home video.

The only other movies to generate that much revenue, ever, have been 'Titanic,' 'The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King,' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.'
