CGI Comic Book 'Chick' Flick Coming

The Top Cow comic book Aphrodite IX is being readied for transfer to the big screen as a 3D CGI feature film.
The title heroine is a green-haired cyborg assassin who decides to learn more about her past. The character debuted in 1996 and was created by writer David Wohl and artist David Finch.
"This is just the kind of franchise we love: a visually stunning world, amazing effects, a great story and a hot, kick-ass babe in the lead," producer Larry Kasanoff told The Hollywood Reporter. "What could be better?"

Another Top Cow property, Magdalena -- about a descendant of Mary Magdalene who is a warrior of the Catholic Church -- is currently in production starring Jenna Dewan.
