Britney's Ex Adnan: Assault With Deadly Weapon?

Britney Spears' ex Adnan Ghalid is now being investigated on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, RadarOnline.com has learned.
According to published reports, a process server who went to Adnan's apartment in Encino California on Wednesday morning to serve him with legal papers involving Britney's restraining order against him alleges the photographer hit him with his car and then left the scene.

The LAPD tells RadarOnline.com that a report was taken about the incident, but that NO charges have been filed against Adnan, and he is NOT in custody.
Britain's Heat magazine recently reported that Adnan claims he and Britney are still a couple, despite the restraining order. He supposedly said:
"I still love Britney. I'm her boyfriend"
A hearing on the restraining order is scheduled for February 23th.
