The star-studded He's Just Not That Into You won the weekend box office, earning an impressive $27.5 million, while the animated 3-D flick Coraline and the action flick Push did better-than-expected -- but still underwhelming -- with $16.3 million and $10.2 million.
The Steve Martin film Pink Panther 2 opened with a way lower-than-expected $12 million. When the original reboot of the series earned a total of $82.2 million and did well on home video, it was hoped that a new franchise had been born.
