The star-studded He's Just Not That Into You won the weekend box office, earning an impressive $27.5 million, while the animated 3-D flick Coraline and the action flick Push did better-than-expected -- but still underwhelming -- with $16.3 million and $10.2 million.
The Steve Martin film Pink Panther 2 opened with a way lower-than-expected $12 million. When the original reboot of the series earned a total of $82.2 million and did well on home video, it was hoped that a new franchise had been born.
Nope.
Coming in second after He's Just Not That Into You was the second weekend of Taken with $20.3 million for an impressive total of $53.4 million. In its 4th week, Paul Blart: Mall Cop came in 5th with $11 million for a whopping total of $97 million.
Still ruling the roost in the top ten, for total grosses, was # 7 Gran Torino. The Clint Eastwood flick took in $7.4 million for a total of $120.3 million total.
