Although actress Jennifer Aniston said she feels great as she nears her 40th birthday this week, she confessed to some hesitation to face the end of her 30s.

"I have to say really, I feel better than I ever felt in my life," Aniston said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs today. "I did have a moment, though, over the weekend my first like huh. ... I don't want to turn 40."

Aniston explained the reason:

"I found a really long gray hair and it kind of flipped me out. It's not my first but it's the fact that it was so long. I was like, 'Oh that's been there. How many others are there, and what does that mean? It actually brought me to tears slightly."

While holding up a photo of John Mayer, Ellen asked Aniston if her boyfriend would be attending the birthday party. The rock star was wearing a green, one-piece bathing suit in the picture.

"I've got to tell you honestly I almost don't want to touch it," Aniston joked without answering. "The man's got balls. What can I say?"

Sounds like she pretty much said it all.
