This morning's crash of Continental Flight 3407 en route to Buffalo from Newark, New Jersey -- killing all 49 people onboard and one person on the ground -- also took the life of Beverly Eckert of Stamford, Connecticut.
Eckert's husband Sean Rooney died in the World Trade Center on 9/11. He was on the phone saying how much he loved her when she heard an explosion and then silence.
Only last week, Eckert was part of a group that visited Barack Obama to voice concerns about how the administration intended to handle terror suspects.
