What Bad Economy?

Nintendo's Wii continues to reign supreme among the video game consoles, so much so that they sold out of their stock in December.
Over 2.15 million Wiis sold in December -- though this was actually a disappointment to Nintendo.
"These Wii figures are not any indication that demand is slowing down," said Jesse Divnich, an analyst with the Electronic Entertainment Design and Research firm. "The Nintendo Wii is going through supply just as quick as they have before and these numbers merely reflect the large disparity between supply and demand.
"We still believe the Nintendo Wii would have sold north of 4 million units had supply and demand been in equilibrium."
