Webber Not A Fan Of Simon

(Photo: Splash News Online) Legendary composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, famous for musicals like Phantom of the Opera and Cats, recently had some unkind things to say about American Idol judge Simon Cowell.
The 60 year-old Webber, who is presiding over his own show, the BBC Eurovision talent search Your Country Needs You, claimed that Cowell preferred 'torturing' his contestants instead of 'nurturing' them.

"That is his problem. He just doesn't work with artists the way I do," said Webber. "I spend a lot of time with the artists working on what they need. The kids get to know me. They know they can call me up day or night - and they do. We are like a family."
Webber isn't alone in feeling this, as the 49 year-old Cowell has been criticized by previous Idol contestants for being too busy to spend time with them.
