Taylor Lautner, who played Jacob Black in Twilight, apparently has now guaranteed himself a spot in the sequel, according to ET, to be in the sequel.
Lautner will indeed be reprising his role as the cute Quileute boy in New Moon.
"It was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part," blogged New Moon director Chris Weitz. "I think that fans of Twilight the book and the movie will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in New Moon."
In the meantime, the 16 -year-old Lautner has been working out for the role, putting on more muscle.
Before acting in Twilight, Lautner did a number of TV shows over the past 8 years, including Danny Phantom, The Bernie Mac Show, and Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D.
