Robert Carylye (The Full Monty) will star as Dr. David Rush in the newest Stargate series Stargate Universe, about a group of earth folk who are stranded on a mysterious spaceship that belonged to an ancient race called -- well, the Ancients.
Now we can tell you about Carlyle's team: Justin Louis (Hidden Hills) plays Col. Everett Young, David Blue (Ugly Betty) is geek Eli Wallace, Brian J. Smith (Hate Crime) is Lt. Matt Scott, and Jamil Walker Smith (Sister, Sister) is angry Marine Sgt. Ronald Greer.
The series debuts on the Sci-Fi Channel in the fall with a 2 hour movie. It follows the 10 season run of Stargate: SG1 and 5 seasons of Stargate: Atlantis, along with a slew of made-for-TV movies.
