Pet Shop Boys Say Yes
Jan. 16 2009, Published 4:27 a.m. ET
Earlier this week, Radaronline.com told you about an upcoming Pet Shop Boys gig. Now we can report that their new album, Yes, will hit stores March 23 -- except in North America, where no release date has been set.
However, Billboard reports that U.S. fans (along with everyone else) will be able to download the single "Love Etc." on March 16.
Though the band has hardly been hiding -- they have a hit with Robbie WIlliams, "We're the Pet Shop Boys" -- this is their first album since Fundamental in 2006 and marks a change of direction for the synth-pop advocates. It was produced by Xenomania, best known for their supercharged efforts with Girls Aloud and Sugarbabes.
