Pattinson Exits Film

The hurried production schedule of the next Twilight film, New Moon, has caused the departure of director Catherine Hardwicke. Now, the dates have cost star Robert Pattinson a gig.
The 22 year-old heartthrob has been forced to leave the film Parts Per Billion in which he was supposed to star opposite Rosario Dawson and Olivia Thirlby -- with whom he was set to share some pretty hot scenes.
"Unfortunately, the prep time and production schedule on New Moon haven't left enough time for Robert to work on Parts Per Billion in the first quarter of this year," his agent Nicholas Frenkel confirmed to MTV News.
