Christina Raines, 24, pulled the plug on the relationship after Peterson indicated that when the "romance is gone" he tends to have flings or move on. Armstrong also told RadarOnline.com that Drew said: "It's probably for the best" but complained, "We just spent thousands of dollars on new furniture."
Peterson is a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife Stacy and the murder of his third wife Kathleen Savio.
After the former police Sgt. made his TV comments, Christina gave him back the ring and cell phone he gave her. Christina's father called police who helped Christina and her two children move out.
