(Photo: Splash News Online) On March 10, former American Idol winner Taylor Hicks will be releasing his new album, The Distance. But will it sound like his previous work or like something out of 60s psychedelic rock?
Hicks hired Eric Clapton producer Simon Climie to oversee the new album, along with longtime Clapton collaborators Doyle Bramhall II and Nathan East. A cup of Cream, anyone? And Paul McCartney's post-Beatles drummer Abe Laboriel Jr. plays on the album.
