Paul McCartney, Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, Sheryl Crow, 60s rocker Donovan, Paul Horn and Moby have agreed to perform at a New York benefit for the David Lynch Foundation.
The concert will be held April 4 at Radio City Music Hall. The goal is to spread the word on the value of transcendental meditation to children.
According to Lynch -- the director of such films as Dune and The Elephant Man -- "In today's world of fear and uncertainty, every child should have one class period a day to dive within himself and experience the field of silence -- bliss -- the enormous reservoir of energy and intelligence that is deep within all of us."
He adds: "This is the way to save the coming generation."
Or, at least, hear some great music.
