Katy Perry Plans Tour

2008 breakout star Katy Perry will headline her 1st tour!
Gripping tight to her hit singles "I Kissed a Girl" and "Hot N Cold", Katy's tour will hit up smaller, 1,000 to 2,000-seat venues, and will even include an 11 concert European leg.
"Our philosophy has always been to sell places out," says CAA's Mitch Rose. "We set the ticket price at $18-$20 for most markets, because we wanted to ensure a sellout. We could have charged more and we know we're leaving money on the table, but making sure the rooms were packed was our 1st priority."
- Johnny Depp's Longtime Pal, Legendary Rock N' Roll Guitarist Jeff Beck Dead At 78
- Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Tell-All Netflix Series Delayed To 2023 After Attacks On ‘The Crown’
- Dianne Feinstein Refuses To Retire Before Her Senate Term Ends In 2024 Despite Colleagues Arguing She Is 'Mentally Unfit To Serve'
And their 2nd priority was putting on a good show?
"I have the guy who creates stages for Madonna working on this tour," Katy told Billboard.
"I understand diva-ness, but I cultivate an image as the pop star next door. You need to have some mystery and some privacy, and there are parts of me that I hold back."
Like what?
Katy's tour kicks off tonight, Jan. 23, at the Showbox in Seattle.
