The Jennifer Aniston film Marley & Me remained at the top of the box office another weekend, earning $24 million to bring its total U.S. earnings to $106.5 million in just 11 days of release.

Adam Sandler's Bedtime Stories remained in the second spot with earnings of $20.3 million for a total of $85.3 million.

Brad Pitt's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button hung onto third place with $18.4 million for a haul of $79 million total. Valkyrie with Tom Cruise was fourth with $14 million for an okay $60.7 million in all, not terrible but well below traditional Cruise grosses. Old reliables Jim Carrey and especially Will Smith were also down and way down, respectively, from previous outings. Carrey's Yes Man has earned $79.4 total while Smith's Seven Pounds has only taken in $60 million in 3 weeks. That's usually just his opening weekend number.
