Idol Katrina Shows Her Stuff

American Idol contestant Katrina Darrell pulled off an amazing campaign in last night's season 8 premiere.

Wearing only a bikini (and a tanned hide), Katrina appeared before the gahgah-eyed judges.

After singing a lick from Mariah Carey's 'Vision of Love', new judge Kara DioGuardi said, "Honestly, you don't have the chops to sing that song sweetie."

So Grammy-winning DioGuardi showed Katrina how it's done. But it backfired.

"Your demonstration wasn't any better," Katrina criticized.

"That wasn't the right thing to say," miffed judge Paula Abdul spoke up.

And although Simon and Randy gave holy "yeses" for Katrina's Idol advancement (and got holy hell from Kara and Paula), Katrina easily made the finals and joyfully hopped up and down in her bikini in slow-mo.

Before her outrageous audition, however, Katrina promised to "make out" with host Ryan Seacrest if the judges gave her a "golden ticket" to the Hollywood finals.

Seacrest hastily reminded the 20-year old that any romantic involvement with her is against show policy.

"But I'll hold onto the thought," Seacrest excused.

After her "golden" audition, Katrina B-lined it to Seacrest, and as promised, planted a juicy one on his lips. And he liked it.
