Idol Cuts The Cheese

Last night's talent-loaded 2-hour premiere of American Idol Season 8 opened with proud Simon Cowell proclaiming, "One of you here today is going to be the most famous American Idol."
First stop was sunny Phoenix where Kara Dioguardi made her first appearance as "the 4th judge."
She fits right in.
"I've never seen anything like that, in a not so good way," Dioguardi told the first horrible Idol hopeful.

"Are you surprised," Simon coolly inquired.
Er... what happened to "no William Hungs" this year?
Then we saw a Paula-dubbed "probably top 5" in 21-year old punk rocker Emily Wynne-Hughes singing the 70's hit 'Barracuda'. (Watch Emily forget the lyrics pre-audition!)
Then Paula gave Simon the finger. He was pressuring her for a "yes or no" vote on a hopeless hopeful.
