You're supposed to be a non-professional to try out for American Idol, but it looks like someone didn't do their homework. Actress/singer Jackie Tohn, who made it to the Hollywood rounds on the 8 season of American Idol, is no amateur performer.
Tohn has been professionally acting since she was 9, and appeared in a number of films and TV shows.
Her first major role was on The Nanny. She was also in series such as Strangers with Candy, Angel, Veronica Mars, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, and most notably an episode of The Sopranos as Heather Dante.
