Her days as an opening act are over.
Starting April 23 in Evansville, Indiana, Taylor Swift undertakes her first tour as a headliner. The concerts will take her -- and her huge set-piece, a "fairy tale castle" -- to 52 cities.
Swift will be promoting her second album, Fearless, which is currently the biggest seller of the new year with 287,000 copies sold in the U.S. alone. In all, it has sold over 2.4 million copies and has spent the last 8 weeks at number 1 on the record charts.
Following her U.S. tour, she will go to the U.K. and Japan.
Swift will warm up by playing a few stand-alone gigs, like a March 20 show for 71,000 folks at Houston's Livestock Show and Rodeo. Go to TaylorSwift.com. to find out when and where you can see the star.
