The war of words between Peter Falk's wife and adopted daughter over who should care for the ailing Columbo star heated up outside court today and RadarOnline.com was there.

Attorney Steven Hogan said, "This case isn't about money, Catherine has agreed to no compensation, she just wants to be able to see her father." Catherine then told us, "I haven't seen or talked to my father since last Father's Day. He had hip replacement surgery and we didn't know when it had been scheduled."

Catherine Falk, filed legal papers last month claiming Falk has dementia and Alzheimer's and can't care for himself. She wants a court to appoint her conservator.
