Famed dog trainer Zak George is getting set for his prime time reality show debut, thanks to Animal Planet.
This July, the cable service will debut 20 episodes of Fetch Me a Beer, in which dog owners will challenge George to teach their dogs outrageous skills, from playing pinball to dancing.
The first episode will star a bulldog whose new skill gives the show its title.
The 30 year-old recalls how people were amazed when he gave up a career in real estate to train dogs 5 years ago.
"That was a step backward in many people's eyes," he says.
Then George and his border collie Venus began winning prizes in competitions and landed on The Late Show With David Letterman, as well as record-breaking YouTube appearances.
