Arizona police have released details about Charles Barkley's blood alcohol level on the day he was pulled over on suspicion of DUI.
According to ET, the level was .149 -- nearly double the legal limit of .08.
The basketball superstar was arrested in Scottsdale last month after he allegedly failed to obey a stop sign. The police officer who stopped him reportedly smelled "intoxicating liquor" and conducted a field sobriety test. Barkley was then arrested for driving under the influence and a blood test was administered at the police station.

However, attorney Scott Maasen points out, "Mr. Barkley, who has no prior DUI convictions, believes wholeheartedly in the court system and is cooperating fully with the court's process. Mr. Barkley wishes to thank family, friends and his ardent fans for their tremendous outpouring of support during this difficult time."
