Apple co-founder Steve Jobs will be taking a medical leave until the end of June.
The 53-year old and Chief Exec has been losing weight at a rapid pace and looking under the weather lately. He told coworkers and peers that his weight loss was due to a hormone deficiency.
Looking worse than before, Jobs gave an update yesterday via email to employees: "During the past week I have learned that my health-related issues are more complex than I originally thought."
With the pending loss of their wunderkind founder and leader, Apple's stock plunged 7%.
Jobs said that he would remain with Apple despite the problem, and that he had already begun a "relatively simple and straightforward" treatment which is "more than I wanted to say, and all that I am going to say."
