According to a web post from drummer Joey Kramer, Aerosmith is getting ready to go back to the studio and record an album.
"Today is the first day Tom (Hamilton, the bassist) and I are getting back together. We just rehearsed for 2 hours and it feels so good! We can't wait to get back into the studio and get back out on the road to do what we do best.
The band hasn't done an original set since Just Push Play in 2001. They took last year off to take care of medical and personal business.
