Protesters have gathered at Los Angeles City Hall opposing the expansion of the less than stellar elephant exhibit at the LA Zoo.
The proposed $40 million exhibit renovation would import another elephant, Ruby, to keep 21-year old resident pachyderm Billy company.
Obviously, this costly project has wrinkled a few noses.
PETA is also protesting its heart out against the likes of rock star Slash, who is pro-construction.
