24's Days Are Numbered

The hit Fox series 24 has another season to go, according to exec producer Howard Gordon. After that, he wants to turn the exploits of Keifer Sutherland's hero Jack Bauer into big-screen adventures ala Matt Damon's Jason Bourne.
Okay -- but that doesn't quite fit with the actor's view. He told reporters this week, "I see Jack as a really human figure and there is something innately tragic about people. I think there is no winning. We're all going to die."
Is there a compromise, a feature film where Bauer kicks the bucket? Guess we'll have to wait and see.
