The new ABC reality series Homeland Security USA debuts January 6, and will follow "boots on the ground" federal workers as they protect our transportation hubs, borders, waterways, and arenas.
"It doesn't have a political point of view," producer Arnold Shapiro says. "It's not meant to show the higher-ups, just the average men and women on the front lines protecting our country from various things illegal and dangerous."

The first episode will be a potpourri of potential hotspots, from border crossings at Blaine, Washington, and San Ysidro, California, as well as Los Angeles International Airport and a mail processing plant.
Homeland Security USA will have a head-start to win viewers before it's competition, American Idol, returns on January 13.
