If you known any young boys, then you know Bakugan Battle Brawlers, the latest craze from Japan. The Cartoon Network is airing the Japanese animated series, about monsters from the parallel dimension of Vestroia and the young humans who control them. It is one of the network's top-rated shows.
Meanwhile, toy stores are selling out of the action figures that transform from orbs to monsters and have names like Pyrus Drago, Haos Tigrerra, Ventus Skyress, Subterra Gorem and Darkus Hydranoid.
Sensing a hit of Transformers-like proportions, Universal Pictures has just signed to make a live action film of the property. Watch for it in the summer of 2010.
