Spidey Sings

Mary Jane has been cast!
Spider-Man is coming to Broadway in a new musical, which is being directed by Julie Taymor (The Lion King). The special-effects epic is budgeted just north of $30 million.
Though we still don't know who will play your friendly neighborhood webslinger, the part of his love interest MJ (played in the films by Kirsten Dunst) will reportedly be played by 21 year-old Evan Rachel Wood.
Wood starred in the Taymor-directed Beatles film Across the Universe. And rumor has it that Spidey may be played by her costar in the flick, 27 year-old Jim Sturgess.
Looks like Taymor is keeping it in the family.
