Singer Son Update

Brian Littrell of Backstreet Boys has added to his blog so fans can stay on top of his 6 year-old son Baylee's medical situation. Happily, the boy was released from an Atlanta hospital on Saturday.
"Before being admitted, Baylee had been treated for or thought to have had strep throat, hand, foot, mouth disease and erythema multiforme," the singer wrote. "After receiving a biopsy, blood tests, an EKG and 2 echocardiograms, Baylee was finally diagnosed with A-Typical Kawasaki Disease."

Kawasaki Disease inflames in the coronary arteries along with the body's small and medium-sized arteries. Baylee was treated fpr the inflammation and will continue to monitor the situation for another 6-8 weeks before declaring him A-OK.
Brian and wife Leighanne concluded by expressing gratitude to his fans.
