Ruffalo's Brother: Murder
Dec. 18 2008, Published 12:56 p.m. ET
Changing its story that actor Mark Ruffalo's younger brother Scott, 39, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office now says his death was a matter of homicide.
Initially, a female friend Shah Mishaal Adham was brought in for questioning, but no gun residue was found on her clothes or skin. She has not been asked to return for further interrogation.
Adham's attorney, Ronald Richards, contests the latest finding. He wrote in an email:

"The only two eye witnesses to the shooting saw the same thing, a gunshot wound to the left side of the head, while one of them saw him pull the trigger. They saw the gun in his left hand after the shot was fired."
The other witness was mutual friend Brian Burton Scofield.
As RadarOnline.com has reported, Ruffalo was found gravely wounded in his apartment on December 1 and died after life support was removed a week later.
