Phelps Takes The Plunge

When Olympic mega-star Michael Phelps went home to Baltimore to celebrate Thanksgiving, he didn't swim solo.
With the 23 year-old was 26 year-old Caroline Pal, whom he has been dating for all of two months. The couple met at the Palms Casino Resort's Moon Nightclub in Las Vegas. It was the first time she met his family.
No word on how that family gathering went, though one can guess they all have a lot to be grateful for this year.
And what, you ask, was Phelps doing in Vegas? Brushing up his poker game. He recently reached the final table of the Caesars Palace Poker Classic, and hopes to compete in the 2009 World Series of Poker.
