(Photo: Splash News Online) American musician and songwriter Pete Wentz, significant other of Ashlee Simpson, appeared on SIRIUS' The Morning Mash Up! to talk about important things like fatherhood, baby fat, and breast milk.
When asked if he had a 'scared daddy moment' when his baby was born, Wentz replied: "Man, I went into a natural mode kind of. I had a scared moment right before she went into labor - I thought I was having a heart attack for real, like my heart started doing like a weird thing. But, the first time I held him...I just knew everything was perfect. Like everything was good - it was like Legos, you know what I'm saying, like it all fit together."
The experience obviously suited Wentz, because when asked if he could understand how Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie managed to have six children, he said: "No, but I want to have six now. I mean not six specifically, but I want more...I can't imagine that we're stopping, you know what I'm saying? This is like a 'Journey' song, it's like the chorus is just going to keep coming."
Wentz also talked about working off his baby fat: "I gained 10 pounds at least. I usually hang out around 135, 134, I go up to about 140, and when I hit 148, I get fat face. For the most part, we're going on walks - that kind of stuff. I think it comes off easier for her because she gets to breast feed and I don't have the luxury of doing that."
Most significantly, Wentz was asked if he would ever taste Ashlee's breastmilk: "Can I tell you, I mean you want a serious answer?...I've tasted it. My mom was sitting here, I swear to God she was sitting here and she's like 'It's the sweetest milk on the planet, you can't even...' - I was like 'What are you talking about?' It kind of tasted, I don't really know how to explain what it tasted like - it's kind of soury weird milk. The baby loves it, it's the only thing he's had a chance to have."
