Governor Sarah Palin's 18 year-old daughter Bristol gave birth on Saturday morning in Palmer, Alaska, to a healthy 7 lb., 7 oz., baby boy: Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston.
"We think it's wonderful," Colleen Jones, Sarah's aunt told People. "The baby is fine and Bristol is doing well. Everyone is excited."
Officially, the governor's office had no comment. Spokesperson Bill McAllister said, "This office will not be issuing any statements. We're here to talk about state government and that matter falls outside of that."
