Writing phenomenon Stephanie Meyer has been working on a new book in the Twilight series titled Midnight Sun.

Where previous books have been from heroine Bella's point of view, Midnight Sun promises a meatier perspective as told by sexy lead vamp Edward (played by Rob Pattinson in the film).

"It's basically the original Twilight book but from Edward's eyes," an insider told RADAR.

Sounds swell! But there's been a major snafu.

The author wrote on her site, "As some of you may have heard, my partial draft of Midnight Sun was illegally posted on the Internet and has since been virally distributed without my knowledge or permission or the knowledge or permission of my publisher."

Which means what for loyal fans?

"I'd rather my fans not read the illegal version of Midnight Sun. It was only an incomplete draft; the writing is messy and flawed and full of mistakes. But how do I comment on this violation without driving more people to look for the illegal posting?"

Solution: Meyers has posted her actual unedited draft on her website.
