With the success of the CGI animated films Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar 2, guess what?

Yes, sequels.

DreamWorks boss Jeffrey Katzenberg has just announced that Kung Fu Panda 2 will be in theaters in June, 2011, with Madagascar 3 coming the following summer.

In case you're wondering what constitutes "success," add in the studio's Shrek 3 and we're talking about $4 billion at the international box office alone. That doesn't include home video. Or licensing. These guys could bail out the auto industry.

Also on the DreamWorks roster is the upcoming Monsters vs. Aliens, Shrek 4, How to Train Your Dragon, and Mastermind.
