IMMORTALIZED Susan Luccci digs in at Planet Hollywood in Times Square. (Photo: Splash News Online) Last night, Susan Lucci put her handprints in cement at Planet Hollywood, the Times Square, New York, equivalent of being immortalized in the forecourt of the Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
Lucci -- who will be 62 on Tuesday -- has starred as Erica Kane on All My Children since 1970. Earlier this month, Lucci and other cast members agreed to a pay cut to keep the show on the air. ABC artfully reported the salary slashes at the time by saying they were "carefully and responsibly managing our costs, which include some production cuts, but in ways the audience will not see on the screen."
As RadarOnline.com reported, veteran soap stars like Deirdre Hall and Drake Hogestyn were released from NBC's Days of Our Lives as the daytime segment loses viewers and advertising.
