Jenkins Deals With Angry Fur Protesters

(Photo: Splash News Online) Animal rights campaigners booed singer Katherine Jenkins this weekend as she opened the winter sale for the venerable Harrods in London.
The demonstrators, who were protesting the Knightsbridge department store selling furs, shouted "Shame on Katherine" as she showed up in a horse-drawn carriage.
In addition, they were waving 'No To Fur' sings as the 28-year-old singer was guided in by Harrods owner Mohamed Al Fayed.

Jenkins claims to have been unfazed by the protesters.
"I was very excited to join the sales," she said. "I am a girl's girl, so obviously this is my idea of fun. Personally, I do not eat meat or wear fur, but people are entitled to their opinions."
She also promised not to the let the demonstrators "dampen everyone's fun."
